Jennifer Linsky was born in Japan, but her parents promptly strapped her to the outrigger of their canoe and headed off across the Pacific Ocean. Six months later, they arrived in Los Angeles and everyone was happy.
Jennifer grew up in the Sonoran desert among saguaro cactus and jumping cholla, neither of which made very good pets. When her tarantula Harry died, she ran away from home, first to be an exchange student in Germany, and later to serve at sea in the US Navy. After the Navy, she attended Northern Arizona University, worked in hospitals, and continued travelling the world.
Today, Jennifer is medically retired and lives in the American South with her mother and two gray cats. Jennifer writes when she has to, reads when she can, and watches entirely too much anime.
