Hi, I’m Gaby Maurino, founder of LezReviewBooks, a website dedicated to reviewing lesbian fiction novels and audiobooks.

LezReviewBooks was born 5 years ago as a simple review blog and it eventually changed into a comprehensive website for all things lesfic.

We are a team of 10 reviewers with different backgrounds like journalism, humanities, health care and science. We have reviewed around 1000 books in different genres such as romance, paranormal, fantasy and science fiction, among others. 

But that’s not all. 

Use our search engine at the top of our website to find your perfect book match. You can search by genre or by tag or the combination of the two. You can also use our free text search to find a book by author, title or keyword. 

Every month we compile a list of recommended new releases based on our reviewers’ ratings. Our monthly lists include novels, audiobooks and a last year’s book you shouldn’t miss. 

But our website is more than a collection of book reviews, and we have a few sections dedicated to promoting authors as well. 

Desert Island Books is based on the BBC radio programme ‘Desert Island Discs’. We’ve adapted this idea to ask authors to list up to eight books, one song and one luxury item that they couldn’t do without on a desert island. 

Our top ten lists are a great source to find excellent reads selected by our curators specialised in different subgenres. Make sure to visit often as they are updated periodically.

We have also created an Authors of Color Directory to promote the work of the underrepresented authors in our community. You can browse through the 100+ entries or search by genre or by free text search.
