‘Heartsick’ is a medical romance about a double infidelity that ends up with both betrayed women meeting and forming a friendship. Their initial bond changes eventually to something deeper that they can’t deny. But in order to move on they both need to overcome their fears first.
This is a well written book by seasoned author Tracey Richardson. Its theme of infidelity is hard to tackle in a romance book but she does it well. The characters are well rounded and, most of the time, credible. However, my issue with this book is that the plot twists and turns tend to stretch a bit too far. Having said that, it’s an enjoyable read.
Overall, a good romance read. 3.5 stars.
