List of Lesbian Books

Review of ‘Love after hours’ by Radclyffe.

Radclyffe if one of my top ten favourite lesfic authors (see https://lezreviewbooks.com/my-top-tens/). She’s a very reliable author whose romances often portray glorious butches and strong femmes. This book is number 4 of ‘A Rivers Community’ series portraying love and life around the Rivers hospital and its surrounding small town. Even though this is a stand […]

Review of ‘The road to wings’ by Julie Tizard.

Good debut novel by Julie Tizard that describes the training process of a woman Air Force pilot in the 1990s with a slow-burn romance in the background. The author is a pilot so the book often gets very technical on flying issues and sometimes feels more like a chronicle than a novel, so consider yourself […]

Review of ‘Party wall’ by Cheyenne Blue.

This is a slow-burn romance between Freya, a yoga teacher and wellbeing shop owner, and Lilly, her next door neighbor and sex shop owner. At the beginning, their different personalities and lifestyles clash but their feelings eventually change following the formulaic plot of ‘hate and then love’ relationship. I’ve read a couple of books by […]

Review of ‘Turbulence’ by E.J. Noyes.

Wow… and when I say ‘wow’ I mean… WOW. After the author’s debut novel ‘Ask, tell’ got to my list of best books of 2017, I was wondering if that was just a fluke. Fortunately for us lesfic readers, now it’s confirmed: E.J. Noyes CAN write. Not only that, she can write different genres (‘Ask, […]

Review of ‘Illegal contact’ by Becky Harmon.

According to the publisher, this book is categorised as Romance / Action, though there is more of mystery than romance. The story revolves around Jamison Krews, a private security agent, who is assigned to protect college football star player Shea Carter after she received death threats. After a rocky start, they feel a mutual attraction […]

Review of ‘Eating life’ by Beth Burnett.

“(…) Ben smiled. ‘Is that your job, then? You eat life?’ ‘I feel like it. I want to explore everything, draw everything, taste everything, eat everything, make love to every woman.’” (Chapter Seven) ‘Eating life’ is a book about journeys: a road trip for some characters, a path of self discovery for others. It is […]

Review of ‘Eyes like those’ by Melissa Brayden.

Disclaimer: I’m a fan of Melissa Brayden, she’s at the top of my favourite lesfic authors (see https://lezreviewbooks.com/my-top-tens/). Whenever her books are published, I automatically put it at the top of my to-read list. So I might not be completely unbaised in my review but who is it anyway? Ms. Brayden introduces with Eyes like […]

Review of ‘Little lies’ by Lila Bruce.

Light entertaining romance / mystery book. It has a perfect balance of mystery, romance and humour. It’s hard to pull off a romance while the characters are on the run but Ms. Bruce did it nicely. Overall, 4 stars. Entertaining holiday read.
