‘Sylver and Gold‘ by Michelle Larkin, narrated by Keira Grace
This was a super entertaining lesbian paranormal/mystery/romance. When I read Larkin’s debut ‘Mercy’, two years ago, I knew she was an author to watch. ‘Mercy’ had some bumps but it was a solid 4 stars just on entertainment value alone. With ‘Sylver and Gold’, she somehow managed to write a book even more entertaining than ‘Mercy’. Not only is this my favorite book by Larkin, but I believe this is easily her best book so far. Length: 16 hrs and 50 mins
‘Enchanted Hunt‘ by L.L. Raand, narrated by Keira Grace
This is a novella and the 8th book in the series. Book 7 was also a novella and is very connected to this story, almost like it is the other half of this book. I did like this a bit better than book 7, but they are both very connected. In fact, Rad is putting out a paperback version that will contain both book 7 and book 8 together.

Series: Midnight Hunters, Book 8
Length: 3 hrs and 59 mins
‘Coyote Blues‘ by Karen F. Williams, narrated by Paige McKinney
As a huge paranormal fan, I love that this is Williams’ main subject to write in. What I have noticed, in her last few books, is she doesn’t just write paranormal, she writes lesbian paranormal books as if they could be true.

Bonus (to be released in November)
‘Aurora’s Angel‘ by Emily Noon, narrated by Abby Craden
While the author calls this a dark fantasy book, I actually feel it is more high fantasy with a mix of urban fantasy romance. While there are some parts that are dark and violent, I find a lot of dark fantasy books to be depressing and this book is not depressing. Some parts are sad, yes, but many other books have some sadness. In fact, I would say what this book really is, what this book is really about, is a good old romance. This is a romance wrapped in a fantasy setting and I loved it. See Lex’s full review
